Is that right?…When the going gets tough, go shopping.
Well, not necessarily so and it may not be the best thing
to do when you are dealing with a stressful situation.
The idea of shopping, whether brick and mortar or online,
may seem to ease tension and give you a sense of
empowerment but it can also increase your spending on
frivolous items and add more to your debt.
Find other means to relieve stress such as taking a
long walk or meditation. Better yet, understand the
cause and find resolution. If resolution is not an
option, let go of the frustration and move on. Do not
allow the grief to consume you.

After watching the documentaries, Food Inc. and Food Matters,
I have become more conscious about what I eat and drink. It
was an eye-opener though I will say my diet wasn't too bad. My
weakness is salt, sugar and fats such as chips, ice cream,
bottled juice, and assorted delicious desserts. The word
moderation at times was struggling to enter my mind in wanting
to be part of my lifestyle.
