The future of real time shopping online?

The future of real time shopping online may be heading our way, but what can
we possibly expect?   We do know that sales from visitors shopping online are
continually climbing with the advent of new software making transactions easier
and faster to acquire products.   With customer and merchant feedback, new ways
are being tested to make sales rise beyond expectations.     

Virtual tour

An element that has transcended beyond one's imagination when developed is the
virtual tour.   This creative endeavor allowed visitors to actually view, for example, a
home for sale.   You could get a panoramic view of the entire home and grounds or
specific locations.   The property was videoed and placed in a format with zoom
capabilities and 360 degree viewing. This saved time for the seller in that they did
not have to leave the residence in order for the house to be shown.

For the buyer, it saved time and gas for travel to the listed home.   With a computer
in hand, buyers can now view property from any location and at any time.   A virtual
tour has made buying and selling quite attractive.

Social interaction online

Though a virtual tour has introduced a new way of shopping, it has not totally taken
away the sterile environment associated by being online.   There is that missing
element with shopping...social interaction.

With real time shopping, visitors would be able to interact with merchants and sales
clerks in real time both audibly and visually.   From the computer, a customer would
log on to a merchant's site and be directed to a live individual specific to the product
needs of the customer.   The customer would then be able to view the actual product
in stock and make a purchase.

A step further in this real time process would be the social interaction involving
friends and or family.   This can create a wonderful platform to socialize from the
convenience of any location, provided the other individuals are present and logged
in via the merchant at the selected store.

Ease of time

In today's society, people have less time during the day to accomplish all of their
tasks. The advancement of technology is constantly changing the way, we as
consumers, shop online.   This new avenue of purchasing would ease the pressure
of time and still provide a real shopping experience.
